HALO Whakatāne is a community led conservation project in the Eastern Bay of Plenty aiming to create a sanctuary around Whakatāne.
HALO is founded on the premise of Kotahitanga - that more can be achieved together than apart. We are fortunate to be supported by an active group of volunteers and have a range of exciting projects around Whakatāne.
