Kiwi nightwalk in partnership with HALO Whakatāne and the Whakatāne Kiwi Trust. Raising funds for Koru Lemaire to attend the Trident High School Great Barrier Island 5 week placement.

Walk through the Ōhope Reserve under the night stars and forest canopy listening for kiwi calls and other night time creatures. We will stop for warmed honeymead and hot chocolate at the Education Shelter (whare), after learning about Te Takapu o Toi, "Stomach of Toi” Maori Pa site.

Please bring a head torch, sturdy walking boots and a keen eye and ear for our local kiwi.
