Taiwan Cherry is quickly taking over our native bush and we need your help to remove these invasive trees and make room for our native species to thrive again!
Join Eastern Bay of Plenty Forest & Bird, who have been leading incredible efforts to tackle Taiwan Cherry across our community.
Meet: The start of Camelia Lane off Waiewe Street (see map below).
Wear: Trousers, long sleeves, sturdy footwear.
Bring: Drink bottle, gardening gloves, and your favourite tools (hand saws, secateurs, loppers). Tools and gel will also be provided if you don’t have your own.
